Never
No one thinks I can
do it. I am all alone.
I run this race with no
one by my side. I
motivate myself. I
have looked for a partner
to run with, but no one
can seem to run at my pace.
It is up to me to believe
and run the race of my life
for my life. I will run to a place
where no one has run to before.
In the end my joints will hurt
and my shoes will be bald.
I will look at where I am and
smile with all the glory
that the race deserves.
Then I will lay there and rest.
Some people might make it
after me, but will stare
at me and nod at how hard
I worked. I worked! I will look
up at them and wink. I will die
in that place, making it better
for the next person to run there.
Hopefully, they will go farther
than I have ever dreamed.
I lived a lonely life and that has been the best and worst part of my life. It has taught me to be different and to look at the different side of things. To see different sides is to see different worlds. - Me |
